Folk Inspirations speak many languages, not only through their international nature, but also through the presentation of various forms of art, including theatre. If this form of communication is close to you and you would like to show your performace, we invite you to the Golden Boat competition.
The language of theatre is based mainly on emotions, thus being an excellent form of self-expression. But playing on stage is also a form of training and personality development – it teaches patience and cooperation, and helps overcome stage fright and difficulties associated with learning lyrics and movement.
Various types of theatre presentations can be prepared for the Golden Boat 2024 competition:
• Visual theatre: visual narrative (animation, storytelling in a performance using objects, various puppets, masks, forms, fashion theatre performances), movement narrative (movement theatre, storytelling in a performance using pantomime, circus, street form and juggling)
• Live theatre: a dramatic or comedy performance, a musical.
• Off theatre: experimental performance
We accept applications from theatre groups in four age categories: 10-14 years old, 15-18 years old, 19-26 years old, and over 26 years old.
To take part in the competition, please complete the application form in the online registrar and read the competition regulations.
We will announce the audition schedule by June 15.
