14 Folk Inspirations is another festival “station” on this year’s Polish tour of Bangladeshi dancers, where they present the beautiful colors of South Asia. Bhongima Dance Theatre was founded in 2005 by choreographer Syeda Saila Ahmed.
The group has already appeared on festival stages in Egypt, Singapore, China, Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Mauritius, Bhutan, Nepal and India. In addition to folk dance, its repertoire also includes classical and contemporary dance.
This year, Bhongima Dance Theater participants will appear on stage as guests and as participants of the Golden Boat competition.
