Our friends from Ukraine could not be missing during the 14th Folk Inspirations. Dance and vocal groups and musicians will take part in the festival. A team of young journalists will also appear.
Youth from the OKO Media Center in Kropywnicki have been participating in our festival since the second edition. They are talented artists in many fields of art: painting, photography, music and singing.
The National Dance Ensemble of Ukraine BARVINOK is a multiple winner of national and international festivals and competitions around the world, including: Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Slovakia, Poland, Slovenia, Turkey, Greece, France, Morocco, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Sweden. The band was formed in 1993 in Lugansk. He will come to us from Sofiivska Borshchagivka to present his folk dance repertoire.
The National Artistic Ensemble of the DEBIUT Fashion Theatre was founded 30 years ago by Tetyana Shirshova, who continues to lead the collective. The group’s performances have been awarded many times in Ukraine and Europe. An interesting fact is that the participants perform on stage in costumes they design and sew themselves.
The National Contemporary Dance Ensemble FLAMINGO was established in 1998 under the direction of Ludmiła Mikołajówna Hryszczenko. In Łódź we will see a twenty-person delegation of nearly two hundred children and youth. The group’s presentations always delight with their originality – they are a combination of classical dance, acrobatics, art, pantomime and theatre.
